Christ Renews His Parish

This movement is for men and women who would like to be closer to the Lord and fellow parishioners.  The Renewal Weekend (retreat) is held once a year on Saturday and Sunday at St. Luke Parish,  You will hear inspirational music and personal testimonies.  You will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and attend Mass.  It is a comfortable environment filled with many meaningful events and a process of personal and communal renewal that grows in the lives of the participants.

Evangelization Committee

Evangelization is a 'way of life', a process by which we share the gift of faith.  Evangelization first begins when we accept God's Word into our life.

We believe that the gospel message can transform each person's heart and can transform our parish and society as a whole.  When we experience this conversion we are invited to share our enthusiasm.  If we are open and willing, the Holy Spirit will use our natural gifts and talents for the work of evangelization.

Our aim is to provide a variety of means by which we invite others to a deeper understanding and appreciation of Scripture and the sacraments, a more meaningful prayer life and a fervor to be ambassadors of Christ Jesus witness in our homes, schools, at work and throughout society.

Greeters

A Greeter is often the first person we meet on our way into Church, perhaps the only person with whom we have a chance to chat, and the one who wishes us well as we depart.  Greeters are present outside Church to welcome newcomers and enable them to find their way.  They are there to greet parishioners and help them feel at home.  Is God calling you to serve our parish in this important ministry of hospitality?
